From Pity to Compassion
In a moment of true compassion, the Samaritan chose action over hesitation. He did not dwell on questions or excuses; instead, he recognized the urgent need to help his neighbor. While offering a prayer and hoping for divine intervention might have been easier, he understood that real change comes from taking action. In that pivotal moment, he went above and beyond, showing that love and kindness require us to step out of our comfort zones and respond to those in need—right here and now. At that moment, the Samaritan became the one God sent to care for him.
Unconditional love is the essence of the faith for those who follow Christ. So for whoever follows Christ “sees the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him or her, it is sin” (James 4:17).

Actions worth more than words
INHO, which stands for "Investir dans l’homme," is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering education as a pathway to development in Haiti. We don't just promote ideas; we actively engage, organize, and drive our mission forward. Inspired by the words of James, we believe that knowing to do good without taking action is a sin. It is our responsibility to support vulnerable children, like 13-year-old boy abandoned in a precarious situation, and to ensure they are not lost to the influences of gang life.

INHO is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to fostering education and sustainable development in Haiti. Through its scholarship programs, food initiatives, outreach efforts, and environmental projects—including reforestation and advocacy for ecological protection—INHO seeks to empower underprivileged children and young people in underserved communities. By providing access to quality education in languages, computer programming, climate science, and cultural studies, the organization aims to shape a new generation with a strong work ethic and disciplined mindset. With a vision to create lasting change, INHO aspires to equip young minds with the tools they need to uplift their communities and contribute to the nation's progress.
