 Rev. Fr. Robert Pierre Louis – Founder

Rev. Fr. Robert Pierre Louis is a Haitian priest and educator whose international formation shaped his lifelong commitment to human development. He began his religious studies with the Community of Saint John, and upon receiving the monastic habit he took the name Brother Dominique. He completed three years of philosophy in Saint‑Jodard, France, followed by a year of theology in Rimont, Burgundy. He later taught Christian culture at a lycée in Loches before serving for a year and a half in mission at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Orange, New Jersey.

He continued his theological formation at St. Joseph Seminary of the Diocese of Rockville Centre in Long Island for two years, then completed his final two years of theology at the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Yonkers, New York. Ordained deacon in 2013 at St. James Cathedral in Brooklyn and priest in 2014 at St. Joseph Co‑Cathedral, he served at St. Michael’s Church and later at Holy Family Parish in Flatlands/Canarsie until 2018.

Through an agreement between the dioceses of Brooklyn and Montreal, Fr. Robert was moved to Canada, where he ministered at St. Patrick’s Basilica (2018–2024) and then at Saint‑Théophile in Laval (2024–2025). In 2025, he was appointed pastor of Sainte‑Suzanne Parish and associate priest at Mary Queen of Peace.

Moved by a deep commitment to dignity, education, and community resilience, Fr. Robert founded INHO to accompany vulnerable children and families in Haiti through education, nutrition, healthcare, agriculture, and sustainable development.
